Dental dams are thin sheets of latex used to isolate specific teeth during dental procedures.

Basic principles which medical device works on and their features:

- Place the dental dam on a flat surface.

-Determine the affected tooth. Choose the appropriate size of the disc hole at the punch and puncha hole approximately 2mm diameter on the dam.

- Use a pair of forceps to hold/enlarge the clamp and place the metal clamp to the punched hole.

- Place the dam with clamp on the affected tooth.

- Place the dental dam frame outside the mouth to hold excess dam material.
